I Can’t Stop Watching This Trailer

Having never seen a full episode of Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show Great Job, I can’t full appreciate all of the bizzaro humor going on in this trailer.  I can tell you that I have watched it about 30 times in the last 4 days and I still have no idea what’s going on.  It’s about 2 minutes and 30 seconds that’s the movie trailer equivalent of Mambo No. 5… you’re not sure if you like it and you can’t get it out of your head no matter how hard you try.

Synopsis: Two guys get a billion dollars to make a movie, only to watch their dream run off course. In order to make the money back, they then attempt to revitalize a failing shopping mall.

Gut Reaction: What the hell is this?  You know what… don’t try to figure it out.  Just find your favorite part and start making inside jokes out of it.

It’s Kinda Like: being on acid?  I can only assume.

Target Audience:  Anyone who loves Adult Swim, Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force.  Men 15-30

Bold Prediction:  Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie is coming out On-Demand in early January and hitting theaters in March.  While the movie overall will probably do pretty good money wise, I would think it’s audience will watch it in their homes as opposed to in theaters given this model.  As of this posting, it’s not getting a wide release, so I don’t think this is going to challenge the Hunger Games.
